CONCEPTS

1.1 LVNSN ART SIA: under the trade name LVNSN ART SIA is located at Pulkveza Brieza iela 7 in Riga and is registered in the trade register under Chamber of Commerce number 40203472401.

1.2 General terms and conditions: these general terms and conditions used by LVNSN ART SIA, which are published on the website of LVNSN ART SIA.

1.3 Participant/Client: the person who takes and/or wishes to buy any product or service.

APPLICABILITY

2.1 The General Terms and Conditions apply to all products at LVNSN ART SIA, unless stated otherwise. By buying any service, product or participating in trainings, the Client/Student/Participant agrees to the applicability of these General Terms and Conditions.

2.2 LVNSN ART SIA may change these terms and conditions from time to time. The latest version of the General Terms and Conditions is always the applicable version and is always available on the Website. LVNSN ART SIA will not announce any changes to the Terms and Conditions in advance.

 

LVNSN ART Products and Services.

Students/Clients can follow separate services or products and purchase them via website or via link sent out directly.

 

Prices, payment and price change

Payment can be made via website or the link.

 

LIABILITY

3.1 LVNSN ART SIA does not accept any liability for physical injury, loss, theft or damage related to following online dance courses or in person dance courses.

3.2 LVNSN ART SIA collects personal data from the students to keep track of its customer base. LVNSN ART SIA handles this collection of personal data with care and always adheres to the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3.3 LVNSN ART SIA does not accept returns of the purchased products. Once the payment has been made, any product is not subject to return.

3.4. LVNSN ART SIA sells products and services that have limited time period of usage. In case the student will fail to proceed with lesson/lessons within the selected time period, LVNSN ART SIA will not open access to the courses again and does not return funds unless stated otherwise in the description of the course. In case the classes/courses are not attended, LVNSN ART does not refund.

3.5 It is forbidden to download, screen save and share any online products purchased with third parties. LVNSN ART SIA products reserves the right to take action in case terms are violated and products are shared with third parties and ban the student forever from any offline and online courses and terminate the provision of the purchased course.

ENROLMENT

Prospective new students must register online prior to attending a dance class. They will then be contacted by LVNSN ART to discuss the application, class availability and entry grade level. Please note that completion of an online registration form does automatically enroll and guarantee a student a place in any class.

MINIMUM AGE

The minimum age for enrolment in a Heels and Frame Up Strip class is 16 and with the approval of the dance teacher.

COMMUNICATION

All communication between LVNSN ART and individuals will be in writing, preferably via email or Instagram messages.

LANGUAGE

The sole language of teaching in all LVNSN ART classes is English. English is also the language used for all communication between LVNSN ART and students. However, LVNSN ART recognizes the wide-ranging international base of its students, many of whom are non-native English speakers, and strives to create a positive, inclusive atmosphere for all.

MINIMUM CLASS SIZE

LVNSN ART requires a minimum of 8 to 10 students per class. We reserve the right to cancel a class if this minimum enrolment is not met. If in the unfortunate event that we have to cancel a class due to lack of students, we will suggest alternative classes whenever possible, otherwise a refund will be provided of the portion of the class paid, but not yet taken.

CARE OF STUDENTS

LVNSN ART is not responsible for providing before or after class care for students. Students are not to be left alone for excessive time periods before or after their classes. Valuables should not be brought to class, as we are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

DRESS CODE

We do not have a set uniform, which we require all students to wear.

For reasons of safety, all jewelry (except small stud earrings) and watches must be removed before class.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Students are expected to be polite and behave in an appropriate and respectful manner to all around them.

LVNSN ART reserves the right to dismiss anyone at any time due to misconduct. Any rude or aggressive behavior from students or parents will not be tolerated. Any use of offensive language or harassment of LVNSN ART will result in dismissal without refund.

Should any issue arise that is a cause for concern, please contact us and we will deal with the situation appropriately.

MISSED CLASSES

We are unable to offer a refund or discount from our standard fees for any classes missed, as we cannot defray costs by offering the missed class to another customer while still having the same overheads to pay, e.g studio rental etc.

CANCELLED CLASSES

If a class is unavoidably cancelled due to teacher illness, inclement weather or any other seen or unforeseen event, LVNSN ART will endeavor to reschedule the class. This may be at a different time, on a different day or at another location from when the class was originally scheduled, and might involve an extension to the term time dates, or it may require the class to be given via an online medium such as Zoom. No refunds will be given in this event. In addition, no refunds will be given in the event that classes or other activities are cancelled due to Force Majeure events.

PAYMENT OF FEES

Payment can be made either by bank transfer or cash.

Refunds will not be given for non-attendance under any circumstances.

LATE PAYMENT

The payer will receive notice if payment has not been received in accordance with these terms and conditions.

A late fee of €40 will be added to any unpaid fees in line with Directive 2011/7/EU of the European Parliament, more commonly known as the “EU Late Payments Directive”.

If the class fees have still not been paid within 30 days from the date of the first class taken by a student, then that student will not be admitted to any further classes until the fees have been paid in full.

REFUNDS

In the exceptional case that a refund needs to be made of part or all of any fees that have already been paid, then this will be performed towards the end of the academic school year and will incur an administration fee of €25.

LIABILITY / DISCLAIMER

Dancing is a strenuous activity from which injuries could arise.

By registering and enrolling in a dance class, the parent/guardian/student waives any and all claims against LVNSN ART and/or its teachers for any liability including but not limited to personal/bodily injury, student property loss or damage occurring during class, rehearsal, performance, or activity sponsored by LVNSN ART. Student participation is voluntary and the parent/guardian/student acknowledges the risks of potential injury associated with the physical demands of dance training.

Please inform us of any physical limitations the student may have. If you are in doubt as to the physical abilities of the student, please consult a physician before participating.

 

 

PHOTOGRAPHY

Permission is granted for LVNSN ART to photograph and video of students for promotional and educational purposes (however these will never be knowingly sold or given to any third party).

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

LVNSN ART has the discretion to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review these Terms and Conditions periodically and become aware of any modifications.

YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By registering with LVNSN ART and enrolling in a dance class, you signify your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Your continued attendance of dance classes following the posting of changes to these Terms and Conditions will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
